NEW WORDS
The English language continues to grow. The Oxford English dictionary had a full time staff adding words to the dictionery. We're approaching 1,000,000 words--if we haven't hit that mark already.

Here are a few new words to keep your copy fresh and sassy, compliments of the Internet.
  • FLAME, v. A personal attack with a post or bulletin broad online. "Please don't flame me if you disagree with this."
  • HOT SPOT, n. A location where one can connect a PC to the Internet using wireless technology. “The airport is a hot spot for travelers who want to logon while they wait.”
  • WIKI, n. 1. An easily created Internet web site used for the quick exchange of information among a group of people. 2. Wiki, a type of software. “A wiki farm is a web site where you can set up a website for a small fee to coordinate a group of volunteers.”

Send us your favorite new word, your pet peeve related to grammar, or poses a writing question, and we'll give you the answer!
